Plein Air Contest - Register & Map Below

WHAT:  Foster community engagement with California Native plants and fresh paint and landscaping throughout the City of Laguna Hills.

WHY: community attendance in the hundreds and acknowledgment of the sponsors helping fund the community improvement projects.

HOW:  The media is expected to enlarge the impact ten-fold for the sponsors, and the artists will compete from at least 6 organizations, gaining media attention for the best works.

​

WHEN:  Sponsors will set up on May 11th in the early morning, and artists will arrive beginning at 8 AM lasting till as late as 5 pm.

​

WINNING: The judges will produce a ranking of the art  and announce results at the 5/14 meeting of the City Council of Laguna Hills, then display the top the ten 5/15 and 5/16  at the  Moulton Museum  and 5/18 and 5/19 at the Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center.
